Soooooooo excited for Stiiiiiiixxxxxx. Another boy, another Dom and more hotter than hot action and bittersweet connections. Brilliantly (forgive the pun) tying up the plot lines that had been left hanging from Grit.It's so important to read these in order starting with Silver Ties because you will fall in love with these men that Patricia breathes life and pathos into.. This is the fifth instalment of the Masters Boys series. I found myself waiting VERY impatiently for this one, anxious to connect once again with the men of DOMZ.com and hopefully get a chance to yell some sense into one of them and see what scenes I could catch with ANY of the others and meet Stix and Master C and see their connection as well as catch a glimpse of old friends. Stix does NOT disappoint.
If you are into BDSM especially the s/D scene, hot sex, or just like to watch this series is a MUST.

I find myself surprised. Why? THIS WONDERFUL SERIES! When I think it can't get any better, it does. When I find I can't fall in love with another character, I do. When I read about STIX's story, I said "you poor thing." I recommend that you read this story. Fall in love with this character, as I did. A MUST READ.
This series was one of the best I've ever read and each book was as good or better than the last and Stix was no exception.
I loved Stix himself of course but I have to say my fav parts of this and most books in this series is the peek inside of Zack and Cassidy and this one gave me GOOD Zack and his gorgeous officer sub! HOT is not the word for this book, loving and caring, and emotions are all jammed packed here. Stix is beautiful and his back story tear jerking.
I love the way she's made these characters real. They aren't all vicitms or heroes they are true to life with the normal trials and joys other people have which is why they are so real. Anyway, Loved this and the whole series!
Stix is the fifth book in the Master's Boys series and with each one I've read, they have only gotten better. I absolutely love all of the characters in this series, even though I do get mad at them sometimes, lol, but I do that with a lot of books. My favorite part in Stix, was when Dennis came all over the zoning commissioner's hand, I laughed my ass off when I read it, for more on that, you will have to read the book.
Seriously guys, if you want to read a light BDSM book that is very well written, with fun characters, Master's Boys is the series for you. I promise, you won't be disappointed.
For me, this was the best book of the series so far. Was it that it pulled my heart strings to breaking point even more than the others? No - ALL the books do that! Was it because of the amazing sex scenes? No - there is not one book of this series that fails in that department! The answer is really simple. It's because finally, our beloved author (Ms Patricia Logan) gave us some answers and tied up some loose ends (and I'm sure that Rokuro helped in some way (lol)). Though this is Stix and Marcus's book, they share the limelight with about everybody else in this series. Now I don't do spoilers, but I will say this - we have holiday time, voyeurism (Stix you are naughty!), a wedding (Vesper you outdone your self with the theme and decorations - I would love to know how the author's mind worked when planning that scene (hehe)), explosive receptionist troubles again! (I hope the author has her copyright sewn up tight, as someone is gonna want that scene in a film and it's gonna be the "one scene" that everybody wants to talk about - absolutely brilliant and a true classic!) and if that's not enough for you, we get a bit more information on Marcus and Gabriel (sushi eating Dom? yum) and not forgetting the unforgettable Vesper! I know I've mentioned her already but she deserves another mention. This book was a true delight to read. The author managed to combine the dark with light - there was tear jerking emotion, downright dirty sex, romance and humour that made tears of joy from reading this wonderful, sexy story. Ms Logan you rock!!
this was just an okay read for me. I thought it was over priced for the word count, but have come to expect that from this author. She does a lot of series and this one fits in with the Master's boys. I just wish it had more development. I will read more from this author, but this one just was not the best of the series to me.
I wait patiently (*eyes everybody that knows me*) every month for the latest Logan release like a kid waiting for the newest game, the latest comic, that needed trip to the Quarter. That last one was just me...no kids needed for that one. I really didn't think I could love Zach Teak anymore than I did in Silver Ties, but she has shown me I could. He's found another 'waif' who needs and he brings Stix home. I can't wait for Con to see what new and exciting things she plans to reveal. If you haven't started this series, I honestly don't know what you are waiting for. Logan does it again and that just makes my day!
So I thought "Grit" was a tearjerker- wow, Patricia topped herself in "Stix." Not to say that Stix didn't have its amazingly hot moments. Zack and Cassidy on vacation, yum. Lots of seriously erotic scenes there as well as some chances to see two wonderfully loving, caring gay men. Meeting Stix of course was great; his immediate charm with Zack and Cassidy was great, even if he was a bit of a peeping Tom at first. Yes, the tearjerker moments came with Wade, back home watching Zack and Cassidy's house and I loved every minute of his darling struggle. I loved really meeting Gabriel and Marcus in this book, rather than the smaller mentions of them in "Grit." Zack's misfortunes around receptionists continue in this book and gave me my ROFLMAO moments. And Vesper was such a dear- I love her.
